Noticed that when I floor the accelerator, the engine revs for about 2 seconds then I get a major kick in speed, should it not kick off straight away? Its almost like in the cartoons where Speedy Gonzales or the Road runner runs on one spot for a second or two then speeds off. Noticed it when I try and overtake.

This happens in Drive (auto), if you've been driving a manual previously it can take a while to get used to. Best option is to use Tip mode.

My mind cant use tip mode,
ie. manual cars start off in first..at the top, then you move to second by pulling down. On the tip, you need to push the stick up. My brain wont accept this. I need to reverse the stick somehow. :)

Dean, either do one of two things:

1. Drive exclusively in tip mode for a day or two, your brain will adjust eventually

2. Check out this link and get your finger out ;)
