car cutting out

hows it going people. im havin problems in the mornings when i start the car . the car starts but it cuts out straight away , if i rev. it for a few minutes it will stay running but it may cut out if i move. have idle revs. up over 1000rpm to keep it from cutting out . had car serviced , nothing found. when car starts revs. are only about 2-300 ,takes about 2 mins revving car for revs to get to 1100rpm . starting to bug me :evil:
any suggestions appreciated

Sounds like it might be your stepper motor. I had similar problems when I bought the car orig. - Bought a recon stepper motor from Steelroe and problem sorted. There is nothing to fitting one - though I would suggest disconecting the battery for a few minutes to reset ECU once the Stepper is replaced.

Try cleaning the stepper motor before buying a replacement - it often sorts this type of problem.

yea, sounds like your stepper motor needs a clean or else needs replacing.
