V6 Mivec Colt

Postby gazmcg89 » Sat Nov 28, 2015 7:37 pm

Picked up Temeeos Gpx a few weeks ago with the intention of fitting the running gear to my track car . The shell began life as a 1.3 which I removed and fitted 1.6 Mivec running gear .

This is the car when I got it

Thanks for taking the time to post this, wouldn't mind going for a PAX lap with you to Mondello when it's all done. :)

Sitting roughly where it wants to be awaiting engine crane due to the v6 being a bit on the lardy side for the one I had !

Nice job! :D You certainly don't procrastinate! I keep making all the time "bad weather" excuses and postponing the jobs I want to do on the GX...

Very little tbh alot of tidying inside . Few connections to do that weren't compatible Fto was hid headlight and I used 1.6 Mivec rad . I was a bit silly and sent digital heater matrix and that away with the shell also the retainers for gear linkages inside don't match so I need one from the Fto or fit old linkages again . Power steering pump . Engine bay is 90% done
