Haven't driven yet!! Spark plugs and coil pack are on the way, so it'll be middle of next week before I get it back, my tuner did say it was capable of more, but I wouldn't dare go more than that, even at the 416bhp it's probably running close to the limits....

To say I'm looking forward to getting the car back is an understatement, especially considering that the car is showing an additional 100bhp+ and not to mention they gave me a 98 Avensis that has it's engine light on permanently and is probably pushing 12bhp if it's lucky!!!!

Stock Power to weight ratio is about 180hp per tonne, so with the increased bhp, it works out around 273bhp per tonne or there abouts.... I haven't compared that to any other cars though....

Plugs sorted out the sputter issue, collecting the car in the morning...

power is now at 403bhp, decided to bring it back from the 416bhp as it was beginning to run a little lean, plus it was probably pushing the stock internals!

I also have a second map at 382bhp that the car will be on all of the time!

It's probably not the best weather to get back into a 400bhp rwd car though!!

Collected the car today and my god!!!!!!!
To say it's quick is a bit of an understatement, it's brutal to be honest, the throttle response is vastly improved, torque is up through out the rev range and when giving it stick it shifts like never before, I took it for a spin with the tuner and it was wheel spinning in third at 70!!!!! (Granted the road was a little damp)

Seriously happy camper now!!!

I'll post the dyno sheets in a bit!!

Have to say, if anyone is ever looking for a good tuner CDA have been excellent, phone calls every other day with updates or emails, every question answered and ideas talked through, very reasonable pricing and great customer service, definitely will go back to them for any future tuning or indeed engine building (If i go that route ;))

On a serious note can't wait to see the car in the flesh ... I hope you won't have any problems controlling the horses .

Can't wait for a spin. Sounds like just about the ideal amount of power for a Zed - I'd like to see the dyno sheets alright but I'd really like to see 0-60 and 1/4 mile times at some stage this year.
