signature code

Postby kona » Thu May 15, 2014 8:09 pm

I have just set up my own business and want to put the website link on my signature http://www.leaksireland.ie
I dont want it exactly like that but using anchor text that says leak detection.
I have looked at it and tried many different ways but cant get it to work, help appreciated.
After selling 2 FTO's to collect all the money i can get i am now reduced to driving a normal car.
Maybe in a couple of years when business gets good i will get another one.

Congratulations on the business. I can't help with your query, but just a couple of observations and suggestions for the website I noticed.

Your copyright says 2012. Usually a good idea to say 2012-2014 and update annually, to show the site is not a dead one.

The banner at the top, while somewhat relevant to your industry doesn't really suit. It looks like more of water purification message. I think a banner with burst pipes and damage that can be caused as a result would send a better message. Just my opinion. I build websites for businesses as a side business and these small things can make a difference. Again, fair play. It is a shame your fto had to go though. Was tempted to buy it myself.

Thanks goz for the good wishes. Never noticed the copyright thing I must update it. Only last Monday I got the hang of editing the site and am slowly learning it as I would prefer to be able to do it myself.
That's good input on the banner, at the moment I'm working on a logo to go there instead. Trying to be different from my competitors as they have best pipes and taps as logos. Just waiting for the inspiration to come.

I'm guessing it was the 00 GPX you were thinking of buying. Really miss it now but I know it's gone to a good home.

Leak detection
Leak detection

You can have your signature like the above by copying the below code and removing the ***
You can also use a (small) picture/banner and use it as a link (like I have) if you prefer.
Best of luck with the business BTW.
