Electrical headache in my FTO - not starting

Postby zakfto » Mon Jan 13, 2014 12:16 pm

Hello everyone !

I am new member and as stated in my presentation topic, I am encountering some issues with my automatic GPX :
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=14690

Well, the car refuses to start. It's cranking but never firing.
I changed the ignition failure sensor and checked the fuses without success.
When I turn the ignition, I can't hear the fuel pump...

I suspect something wrong in the wiring due to a previous alarm installation that was removed.
I made some pics so that you can understand what 'fiesta' is going on under the bonnet

I removed the whole interior and dashboard to see how the wiring was.
I found something strange :

Do you have any idea where this should connect ?
Hope some of you'll have an idea of what could be wrong. (If needed, I have a video of me trying to start the car).

Regards,
Zak

Its typical fuel pump wire cut to immobilize the car when someone try to rob it.

Dig out the loom in the spots that it were cut and find matching color wires to join em back.
Best if U can download wiring diagram for FTO or get Yourself multimeter find the wire for fuel pump andd trace it down to where it been messed with.
Only one ever build 1.3 turbo Fto, 0.7 bar on stock internals...because your imagination is the only boundary :)
