Cover Your Car

Postby Bernard » Mon Oct 01, 2012 12:31 am

I was looking for a fitted indoor cover for the FTO today and found Coveryourcar.co.uk
You can see the options available at the link above.

They said they would offer a club discount of 10%, all you have to do is enter the discount code "FTOSAVE" at the checkout (this will work for any Mitsi cover).
Also, they will combine postage (@£18) for multiple orders to the same address so a group buy could be on the cards if there's sufficient interest.

They didn't have a picture of a covered FTO to hand but one of the UK owners took some for me and has allowed me to use them here...
He bought the "Monsoon Stormforce" and if very happy with it, personally I'd want an indoor one but these pics at least give you an idea of the fit.

That's £145 plus £20 P&P Goz, the one I posted above is £129.50 and the P&P is £18 and that's before the discount.

I would worry about close fitting car covers.

Although much more expensive I would prefer a Carcoon. Had the Lotus in it for 6 months and it's great and can be used outdoors. Came out bone dry. Electricity costs are very low.

@ Goz, the 2nd one you linked to is a universal fit... keep looking though I'm sure you'll find one better.

@ Laura, a friend of mine has a Capri in a carcoon. It cost him the best part of a grand (the carcoon that is).
I'd have to agree though, money no object it'd be great to have.

Indoor, heavy duty one.
It's 8x16x8 and has two circulating fans.

Let me know where ye got the lotus one and I'll pass the details on.
