hi i'm new haven't a clue what i'm doing, but need help with insurance... same old problem, been off the road for a while, trying to get the beauty back out there!! can anybody help? by the way how do i help with the donations?? thanks in advance, Cathy.

More info needed. Age. NCB. If you've another car, insured or your spouse etc etc etc. I sent you info about donating.

I can't understand why anyone would go with these. The excess alone is worth 2 FTOs in the current market.

they are usually the cheapest and they insure most cars, problem is they wont insure a car over 10 years old unless its worth more than €10,000 and they wont take a car valued at under €5000. So that counts the FTO out. The Excess is €3,000 but you only pay that in event of an accident otherwise its around €650 a year fully comp.

I wonder, if you just value the car at 10k, because of upgrades, would they accept that? You see all kinds of numbers getting thrown around.
