Hand drawn cars

Postby Bernard » Mon Feb 20, 2017 6:44 pm

Just in case anyone is interested, there's an ex-FTO owner in the UK hand drawing cars to order.
You supply a hi-res photo and she'll do the rest...
Facebook link here.

Here's the first progress picture of my car anyway, I can add more as I get them if there's interest.

Can you send some details to me? Are there larger options available? I think an A3 size would be great.

From her Facebook page...

Prices...

A4:
£20 graphite drawing of a single vehicle
(£25 from Monday 27th Feb)
£35 colour drawing of a single vehicle
+£12 for a mounted and framed drawing
(Frames available: Black, white, oak)
A3:
£50 graphite drawing up to 2 images
£70 colour drawing up to 2 images
Frames for A3 drawings POA

Postage is not included but can be organised. (UK from £3.50 for A4 drawings, from £10 framed prints)
Worldwide deliveries are available! Please ask for postage prices.
Pick up also welcome (Stoke on trent).

Payment is required upfront via PayPal, BACs or you can drop cash off if you are local :)

Drawings take approximately 8-12 hours and will be done over a period of 4-7 days. I will let you know an estimated date for your drawing before you pay to make sure it's convenient for you! Please book in early for drawings for special occasions to avoid disappointment!!

I will supply an email address for you to send your photos too (as Facebook squashes the quality of them). Please only send high quality photos - do NOT send images taken from screen shots, images saved from Facebook or images that have been through editing apps such as Instagram. Ensure photos are well lit, in focus and the car is the main subject (see example below) Both Facebook and Instagram ruin the quality of images and as such mean they do not have a high enough resolution for me to make good drawings for you.

Any questions just drop me a message :) x

Good stuff.
I'm happy with the progress to date, something a little different and personal to add to the collection.

The finished drawing arrived today, I'm delighted with how it turned out.
It looks even better in the flesh, and better again framed.

Excellent Bernard. Can we see another more up to date picture of the FTO shrine in all of its glory?

There's not a lot of change Kace, I got a couple of magazines but along with the manuals they're not pictured.
I've scanned the magazine articles and put them on the club facbook page if you're interested.

I'm looking at this rubbery looking thing at the moment, odd the things you find.

Yes I did indeed.

The rubbery rectangular thing is taken from a set of illuminated door sills. I have a set of those on mine.

Dammit Kace, you're right.
I didn't recognise what it was out of context...
...not that I have an excuse.
