hi everybody, i have a problem about my fto, she start to eat a lot of petrol, before it was 8-9 liters for 60 miles mixed, for second month its up to 12-15, and its the driving as before, what could be the problem, how to reset ecu and where its located ? tell me what you thinking .

to reset rthe ecu all you need to do is disconnect the battery I think it's 45mins..to be safe I'd leave it overnight.

as for fuel economy I'd recommed doing a full service, including filters, plugs and an oil change .. also check your exhaust for leaks..

have you done any modifications to the car?

any other issues, like idle speed dropping off or erraticness of same?

Easier to just disconnect the battery and press the brake pedal a few times. It'll be reset straight away.

Means you don't need to wait 45mins.

As per the workshop manual, disconnecting the battery for 10 mins is sufficient. I know that depressing the brake pedal for 30 seconds after disconnect does the job of draining all residual power on the likes of Mazdas and Subarus, I don't see why the same process won't work for Mitsis (never tested it mind you...).
