My name is Ron, want to say hello to you all
I have registered because im helping my son in law who bought a FTO mivec this year.
We have found out that its a bit of pain in the ... to solve anything we have to deal with.
But we are still making progress, and the ultimate thing is getting a good engine running..
Im a certified car mechanic for 7 years, and worked mostly at Ford( can i say this here ?
)
But that was in the previous century..
25 years of exp fixing on all kind of cars, so the basics are there i think..
Working on a FTO is not so much different, but we find out there are some challenges, like not clear explanation of things and steps to follow on various manuals....
I hope that i can contribute here, as much as possible...
