Speedo not working

Postby bonzer » Fri Jan 10, 2014 5:28 pm

Hi,

I have a problem with the speedo not working on my 95 GPX tip.

After reading other threads on this forum, I decided to bypass the conversion chip attached to the gearbox sensor but all this did was to clock up the odo quicker. Does the fact that the odo works mean that the sensor on the gearbox must be ok?

The odo is going up faster because it's in klms rather than mls.

If the odo is working, the sensor is fine I would imagine. Any way of swapping out the clocks to see if another set works, just to rule in/out the clock as being faulty?
