Welcome! Take a look at the buyers guide at http://www.fto-ireland.com (column on the left) if you haven't already.

Always a couple of FTOs for sale in the for sale forum too.

What you after, manual/tip? 1.8/2.0? any particular model?

Thanks kevinod i'm liking a lot of the ones i'm seeing for sale, but as i read in a previous thread, i'm trying not to rush into it. I'll be going to england in two weekstime so hopfully i'm trying to arrange to see a few over there too.

Nice one tymeless, have you any picture up on the site i can look at? Are you using it for everyday mileage...how are you finding it?

Cheers for that, went out there this morning, and thought I was in luck, there was a really nice FTO in the lot. Sadly it was a customers car, and was in to get a wheel bearing done. Talked to the sales guy, said he has just bought a couple more, but won't be in from Japan for 5-6weeks. Might hold off and see wot they're like.

was a silver car in the lot.....if it was thats the car i went to see a few weeks ago.........nice but it wasn't worth 11grand.......i got a newer car, half the mileage, and in better condition with all the mod cons by going private........i'm not saying dont buy from him but he's had a lot of interest so he knows he'll get top dollar.....
i suppose its the big disadvantage in not being in dublin is that people will buy from him coz everything else seems to be in dublin.....

Yea it was a siver/gold colour, 97 gpx mivec manual.

Did he quote you 11K...??? I got a quote of 9K out of him for the same type car as the one there. No harm to have a look at what he gets in in a few weeks.

Yea, he was telling me it was a lady that bought it and she had no idea about the spec of the car or what mivec was...wot a waste of a nice car

I guess I'll soon see when the cars come in, his price could change...but I love haggling.

I hate it when folks compare the coupe and the FTO! I'd say the GPX never got above 4k on the tacho during the test drive
