This would be my preference also - would be an excellent location for a UK/Ireland meet as we would have some chance of getting the numbers needed for a spin around the track.

This is a prime candidate for a split topic methinks?

Mondello would be good. I'm not putting my FTO on the track, but if I could get behind the wheel of some other car it would be very cool!

Jeez - this thread is all over the shop - good luck with the split CJ

31 Oct seems like a plan to me - though a morning or afternoon session would be more than enough for the majority of our FTO's.

We may need to approach the UK boys and see if it clashes with anything on their side?

The UK lads generally need plenty of notice for this kinda thing, I'm thinking that October would be too soon.

The ftooc events calendar for October is empty so might be cool but I guess it might just not have been updated...

Having already put my FTO on track before,(kirkistown northen ireland) a few words of warning
Tip box owners bring some extra fluid incase of overheating the box
bring a spare set of front pads(just in case :) )
get insurance if ya can especially for a track day
those with body kits either put back in standard springs or don't monster the curbs (hard to do in the heat of a race)
clean the inside of the windscreen, you'll end up turning off the air-con to give the extra power to the road but windows will fog up due to body heat brought on by adrenilen.
over inflate tyres by about 6psi
if i think of anything else i add it later

I'd be on for that - of course I'd expect good odds seeing as I would be up against a lighter more powerful car with brembo brakes! :smt047

More powerful, we will have to wait and see about that, i may have the brakes but as for being lighter, i've packed on a few pounds over the summer, i forsee it being a cold winter so i'm getting my insulation sorted!
