Ok, so just to recap - so far we have the following confirmed:

1. Shane (experienced)
2. Helen +1
3. Kev - (no experience)
4. CJ +1 (no experience)
5. wendie
6. RussMan - (experienced)
7. Agent S - (some experience)
8. JD (no experience).
9. Terry +1 (no experience)
10 PTFTO + the kids

So we've 13 + PTFTO's kids :) - which means

    6 with absolutely no experience
    3 with experience
4 with no indication of level

This leads to some questions:

1. For those with experience, i.e. RussMan and AgentS - what would you prefer - a free skiing session. I'll probably just float around, have a few runs maybe take the opportunity to do some training.

2. For those with no experience - do you mind being in a beginners class with others?

3. For those with no indication of standard - are you definitely coming along? If so I'll need to know with skiing experience you have before booking anything

And MfFTO - don't be scared... it won't hurt that much when you fall.... :smt082

After skiing what do people want to do??

Oh yea, I know the 10th of December was suggested but any chance we can push that back a week as I'll be in Romania at a race that weekend?

I'm sure it won't hurt anymore than my normal weekend activity of getting pummelled by 19stone guys on a rugby field.
If I'm able to go and my knees are back up to scratch then I'd be on for it.
If you are pushing it to the weekend of the 17th Dec then its only a couple of days before my Aus trip - if its going to be the weekend of Dec 3rd I may be able to manage it alright.

3rd is no good for me unfortunately, but I never seem to get there in the end anyway :smt017 So don't make any decisions based on my previous record!!!! (although I swear I was going to come this time :smt111 ), but if it happens to end up on on the 10th I'll go along :smt045

Sign me up, havn't skiied in years so i'm just above novice. I see no one mentioned Xmas shopping trip to UK for parts.
There's a golf course there also so we can drive around it literally.
Anyway, dates are flex with me. 8)

Hi Guys

Just letting you know that I can make the meet (I think, depending on which day it is!) but won't be skiing unfortunately...

Sorry :smt085

You're resisting the desire to tie planks to your feet and slide down hills?

We're starting to get close, is this still going ahead?

Kev.

Ok, I've enquired up at the club on prices and for a group it wil cost 27 euro per person for a 90 minute lesson with some supervised free skiing after the lesson.

So are we going for the 3rd? I'll be heading away to Romania on the 4th but if you guys would prefer I can organise this for the 10th and just pass the details to CJ?

So before I book anything we need to confirm the day and the number of skiers who want to take a lesson - so far I have the following:

1. Helen +1
2. Kev
3. CJ +1
4. wendie
5. JD
6. Terry +1
7. PTFTO +the kids
8. IrishPhoenix +1
9. Mark

And those who don't need any lessons

10. Russman
11. Shane

And AgentS holding the supporters flag at the bottom??

So that makes it 13 for a lesson + PTFO's kids (how many?) and 1 for free skiing (not sure on the free skiing price but I'll check this week).

Can we confirm on that??

:smt043 unfortunately no - that just means RussMan can ski slide up and down the slope to his hearts content without anyone to hold his hand....

Shane, it ain't right for you to do all of the organisation and then not be able to turn up (just my point of view). That said, I should be available on both dates so its up to yourself...

I second what CJ says about Shane not being able to go to a meet he's effectively organised single-handedly. Maybe we should have a poll? PUt the dates down & see who can come when?

Guys I'm easy... sure if it's on the 10th I'll be sliding on the real thing anyway so I'll be happy :D

I reckon we should go with majority rule - good idea about the poll AgentS... I'll start one now..
