with getting it couriered over and with the exchange rate it is still coming in under a grand.thinking about maybe waiting and saving to use new timing belt kit on thatinstead of my own engine as its clocking up on 240k now

I've seen fto engines 450k + , running like day one :smt002

DubC is selling a mivec engine. Might try him and would be a lot cheaper.
97 Manual GPX. Icecelle Blue.
Other Stuff: Induction kit. Front Strut. Apex Lowered. 17" Kahns. Quad exhaust. HID lights. Glow dials and rings/cups. Black leather seats. Window tints. Sunroof.

my engine still runs perfect and pulls well apart from slightly noisy tappets and a slight drool from a few spots..would be a lovely job to have a spanking new motor tho :D

You could rebuild your own engine to the very same standard as that one.

You can adjust the tappets.
