FTO does not start

:( First the engine sound weird, but one day does not even start

Make sure she is getting fuel. Fuel pump maybe?
97 Manual GPX. Icecelle Blue.
Other Stuff: Induction kit. Front Strut. Apex Lowered. 17" Kahns. Quad exhaust. HID lights. Glow dials and rings/cups. Black leather seats. Window tints. Sunroof.

If you want a theory based on the sound, I'd take off the top cover of the timing belt to get a look in just in case, to rule it out.

check your battery terminals first sometimes they are prone to loosen

this does not sound like a battery problem.
White 98 GX, HID lights, SS Exhaust, 17" BK racing Alloys, lowered Suspension, Veilside rear bumper, illuminated Door handles, Leatherette seats

Agreed. It's turning over, which suggests a fuel supply problem is most likely.

Could be a camshaft sensor or something too.

Does it have an alam or immobiliser?

I only said check the battery terminals to rule it out,didn't see the video was in work and Internet is frowned upon :k

Saw this video on boards and remembered the clicking.

Dont worry, I remember how pissed off I was when giving a friend a lift and he said the FTO sounded like a diesel, I restrained myself just enough to explain to him that he just had not heard a real car before and Diesels sound like crap.

take of the hose were you fuel fliter hose connects to the fuel rail and see if petrol is coming out when ya turn it over that rules out fuel pump and that your geting fuel. if it is then remove your spark plug and check for spark if there is fuel and no spark.your into coils leads cranc sensor few other niggly bits but start with the basics if you have fuel and spark your then into timing problems

Battery is not, because It was charge before trying again.
