Bored of top gear?

Postby holio » Fri Dec 30, 2011 11:03 pm

Messing round on youtube the other night i discovered the american top gear.
Now its pretty close to a carbon copy of bbc top gear but still a very good way to burn time.
Season one is ok but you can tell the budget went up for season two. The challenges are actually quite good.

Top gear seems to be getting worse every year. Jeremy didn't even eat his hair at the end of the xmas special either. It was like a child, sneakily eating around the veggies. That would have been funny. Actually, it was funny when the mini was ripped to bits when hauling the jag up the hill.

It is getting worse unfortunately.
I remember before when funny moments you knew they were staged... or did you???
Now everything is obviously staged and their behavior has become a bit too repetitive and overly immature.

I still laugh sometimes at the memory of Clarkson being pushed into the icy water in the polar special :)

That was hillarious, he was properly disgusted and it showed he wasn't used to being shouted at.
Put the b****x in his place.

To be honest as funny as he is, he is not always a likable character and it was pleasant to see him getting pushed in. It surely shut him up real fast :)
