The show is on September 10th, 11th & 12th in the RDS.
More info at this link http://www.motorshowireland.com
Anyone interested in going? I think this would be a good opportunity for a meet.

Saturday suits me best, and most others I would think!
Looks like tickets are €10. There are group rates available...more than 10 people, but probably not worth the hassle to save a euro or two.
Maybe we could meet some where and travel in convoy, after the inevitable tyre kicking

My FTO isn't going to be in showroom condition at that stage, but could well be interested in coming along, assuming I'm not on call that weekend.

I guess that makes me a 'maybe & hopefully'.

no not yet, but going to wait till i actually go to put the "hairdryer" in the car, we'll work around everything else first before we start and then see how we go, i can get a lend of an 88 BMW 320 if i'm stuck.
I'll be taking a spin down to the rollers some weekend probably the start of October if anyone else is interested! (at least the "wind machine" won't have more horsepower than me this time  )

I need to see how my car is doing power wise since the ITG - Iridium plugs and S/S Exhaust were fitted. So keep us posted on a date for the rolling road. Would be interested on comparing to another manual mivec to see if there are any real gains???

Agreed. Try to avoid city traffic. Trying to work the clutch while wearing wellies can be tricky! And we don't want any accidents.

LOL :)

While it nowhere near the RDS, how about meeting up at the Papal Cross in the Phoenix Park? Its easy enough to find (just a suggestion - if anyone else has a better location, go for it...)

The dubs would surely burn if they got too close to the Papal cross!

Take the Tallaght/Templeogue (southbound) exit off the M50 and follow the sliproad around, you'll see the Spawell on the LHS, take the next left and left again, you can't miss it. Is this meeting point agreeable to everyone? What time should we meet, 11am?
