Postby dave100 » Fri Jul 01, 2005 1:05 pm

Spotted a white one in AT this week. Too far for me but price seemed good-€3900.

Where was it based and what year? autoreader.ie doesn't seem to list it.

The White 97 "GPX" for sale in Motorpoint is clearly a GR.

It even has "GR" marked on the bootlid and of course a picture of a GR engine.

Interesting that North Rd Motors have a 2.2 Mivec for sale. It never inspires confidence for me when a dealer can't even get the engine size right for a car their selling!

Agreed. Not the first time I've seen the Mivec engine described as a 2.2L.

I saw this id the AT last night, its down in Monaghan. Looks like new wing, new bonnet, some bumper work and new windscreen. I reckon he's asking too much for it, 3 grand sopunds about right considering the damage.

Was talking to the guy that has this GPX last night.
96 TIP
Only damage he says is
bonnet
Windscreen (which he has)
Bumper
And headlamp clip are broken.

Sonds alright for a car that went under an artic.
There is also slight !!! damage to the bulk head around where the chassis number is printed.

How did that happen? :? Does that mean the chassis number isn't there any more? Sounds dodgy...
