Hey i am 20, had my licence 3 years and got 1 years ncb in my own name and 2 in my parents name.
i got a quote of €1835 for an Fto Gpx tiptronic. Searched for the car with reg no. its only 2033 for Fully comp....

Strange right?

Shop around for quotes, a lot of companies wont touch the FTO, that'll be you're biggest problem at the start of ownership. Some companies you ring will tell you they dont quote FTOs but if you ring back a few minutes later and get someone else then you'll get a quote of them.

Haha, i know i have read through most of the posts on here, even some from as far back as 2005 i think i do my research haha... also i thought that the quote above was quite cheap in comparison to most people getting quotes of €1000-1700 that have been driving way longer than me with full no claims etc... it seems like luck of the draw as mentioned in countless threads which is quite annoying, as a risk assessment is not something you can just randomly pick out of a hat!
