anybody have any ideas how i can get insured on my gpx 2ltr fto problem is im only 20 but every company i ring up just wont insure the car itself any suggestions

transfer. Get insured on a smaller car. Leave It for about 3 to 4 weeks and ask for a transfer . Cant refuse ya mate. This is Wat i did to get insurance on my gpx . They are obliged to give you a quote if you already hav a policy wit them. A Quinn employee told me that so try the transfer and let us know how you get on . You dont live in cloverhill by any chance do ya?

i have tried that cause i have i am insured on a mirage but der is only two weeks left so i asked for a transfer but i was told they cant cause they dont insure the car maybe he was talking bullshit well hopefully..eh no man from ashbourne only bought the car from a lad in howth

That isn't legal. They legally have to quote you uf you are with them already.
I was in the same boat as you. Had a mirage and got an FTO.

Ring up and try again. If they say the same thing ask for a manager as they will be more up on the legality

ask to speak to a supervisor if they refuse ya and tell them you'll report It to the IIF if its not resolved. I'm sure they Will change their attitude

Drive it on an open policy on a smaller insurable car, with the fto in another name.
