Got any ideas?

Postby foxy » Sat Dec 10, 2011 12:08 am

Hey

Ive had my FTO a couple of months now and ever since I bought it theres been this knocking noise coming from the front and rear of the car, Ive done a search on the forum but it all seems to point to the ARB well I have changed both the front and rear ARB bushes and drop links, Ive also made sure the exhaust is secure and not knocking against anything and it hasnt made any difference to the knocking. The noise is hard to explain its like a loud deep sounding knocking kind of rattle. It happens even on a very slightly bumpy roads and general driving, Any suggestion what else it could be?

Cheers Guys

Have seen this a few times, for me it turned out to be wishbone bushes. On what ever side ur knockin is coming from,
Its is the big rear bush on front wishbone. There is a big u clamp that holds it place.
