need help with finding insurance please !!!

hey .... im 28
full licence 3 yrs
3yrs no claims
1830cc fto gs !!!!!

got my renewal sometime back from quinn was 900 fully comp..now that i went to renew it they say the new quote is for 3rd party and its 1,000 euro......they are not doing fully comp for cars valued under 5k..... i told them id think bout it..
ive tried o reily cullen they say their is no takers for a fto !!!!!!!!!!ez direct are not insuring anything valued at under 5k!!!!!!!! ....any suggestions or any info please and thanks again for your help !!!!!! :D

im with quinn but i remember getting quote from Britton that was quite good at the time. Im only 24 (just) so cant see why they'd refuse to quote you, especially on a GS.

Thanks when i questioned the guy from quinn about this he tryed to tell me that they had so many clamis from people on fully comp last year with cars under the value of the 5k mark that they had to scrap it !!!! mad thanxs again will try these :D

As posted above, try Britton.
Every year I open the phone book and try everyone, Eaglestar through Britton have been the best now for a few years running.

Why not tell them the car is worth 5K? I do cause its worth a lot more than that to me. 5K wouldn't cover if I had to get another one the exact same.
I'm prob going to have a problem too when I come back getting insurance, no place does bloody online quotes now, have to ring them, last times I was insured I got the quotes online and quoted the reference. Even with Quinn.

When I asked last year could they go any lower they asked if the car was worth less than 7k, I said no, I want to ring them now before my renewal and tell them it's worth 5k, worth it do you think? I'd like to add I didn't really understand insurance at the time so picked a ball park figure off the top of my head which was close to asking price.
