You'll now at least have a benchmark for your hairdrier project - Would be interesting to be able to compare the turbo 1.8 with the GPX. Presume this ones going to your mum?Another Steel Silver GPX hits these shores - we'll have to start putting a limit on them or I'll be buying something rarer - like a Golf!

yeah it'll be a good comparison alright, just managed to source myself an intercooler now as well, so just a few more bits and it'll be all steam ahead!

so we'll have a tip GPX an auto 2.2 V-Tech and a 1.8 turbo manual.... i reckon i;ll have plenty of comparison!! :twisted:

LOL - while I still really, really miss the FTO I have to say I'm really enjoying the golf. Lovely drive as long as you don't push hard in the twisties.... :-)
