whistling wheel

hi all,
went for a drive today after getting lost on some crap backroad a million pot holes per mile, i noticed there is a whisling noise coming from my front wheel not all the time goes away when i brake and speed up could it be my bearing, steering feels fine no shakes or wobbles,

had a good look at the wheel that was whistling noticed a lot of brake dust looks like it was brake that was sticking on a bit, brake dust had got in past the rubber covers and was clogging up the pins gave it all a good clean should really get new pins as they looked a bit worn and pitted, havn't tested it out yet but touch wood all is good :lol:
