Was also going to try and make a big return and attend this one (especially as my home town is Loughrea), but unfortunately missus had already booked the time in the family calendar !!

Enjoy Tynagh - largest Kart track in Ireland AFAIK. I was speaking to Gino there recently who informed me that they run proper rally cars around the track for certain events every now and again

Next time :-/

Absolutely Andy, all welcome and really you don't even need an FTO (there'll be a few of us there without one). Check back over the thread for details of where we are staying etc., and your details for the list so we have an idea of numbers for karting.

As for the convey from Dublin, I'll probably just figure out what time ye'll be passing Maynooth and join ye there. Should be fun.

it's a bit early to organise time/place for dublin convoy meet .

I can suggest a couple of places closer to that weekend

The karting is booked for 2.30pm right? What time is the restaurant booked for?

I'm guessing its time to start arranging meeting points and times. Given that karting is booked for 2:30, would the best thing be to meet in Loughrea, 1:45? That'll give time to get a coffee and have a quick catch-up.

Its about 2hr from Dublin to Loughrea, so will need to be leaving about 11:30 to allow a bit of time. I'll let the Dublin guys agree a meet up point, and I'll catch up with you outside Maynooth.

Karting booked for 1430 so if everyone can meet up at 1400 at the Kart Circuit that'd be fine.
Has anyone booked the restaurant? I'd say somewhere around 7.30pm would be a good time - it'll give us enough time to settle in hotel (have a couple of pints) and then head for the pier restuarant.

im in tallaght and seb is around city west so where is every other dub based so we can make it easy for everyone to meet up.

There's a few coming from Munster, Shane your house is more of less on the way, fancy meeting you there?
Anyone else want to meet up earlier and head off together?
The Southcourt would be an easy one...

For the Dublin guys, I suggest we meet at the site of the old Foxhunter pub on the N4 in Lucan (Halfpenny Golf) just after the Texaco garage at 11.45 am with a view to hitting the road no later than 12pm.

My better half cannot come though . Still ,Lucian ( he's been to a few meets with his Galant and Cappuccino ) might tag along
