rear fog light for mot

rear fog light for mot

when fitting a rear fog light does it have to wired to its own switch or can you just wire it up with the front fong switch?

and pass an mot?

Correct, and it has to be an illuminated red switch an'all.

Up to the owner really some guys wire it to the front fog switch and it is not an issue. Personally I would have a seperate switch as you will use the front fogs more often.

Why not just convert the inner 2 brake lights to fogs when needed and operate normally when switched off.

That's what was done to mine,
I think cutting a hole in your rear bumper for a poxy light is a horrible thing to do.
