Best tip I can give is to get it in shape to best enjoy it - the FTO's are 10-15 yr old cars now and most could do with a bit of tlc esp in the suspension (bushes/droplinks/dampers + strut braces) and engine departments (make sure the cambelt has been changed, aux belts, denso iridium sparkplugs, regular fully synth oil changes). Nice to haves would be a good set of rims (Rota make some nice inexpensive light rims), lowering springs (Apex, Eibach etc) and in the sound department a nice catback (or decat) stainless exhaust and perhaps an ITG or HKS filter (pref with cold air induction) for better sound from the V6.

Thanks everbody ,yeah have the car. sold my 540 and bought it. Shes from across the water, the guy that brought it in had it for 6 months then went to aus ....

Will be a fraction of the running costs of a 540 also - assuming that you're referring to a BMW 540i ??

@Kace . You know the 540i then . Weeks wages just to go the shop ha ha
