350Z

Postby RussMan » Mon Jan 30, 2012 9:24 pm

Hi All,

Long time no FTO so i'm back again as i may pop out and get another 350z this week. I was in a fairly bad crash back in July 2010 and I've been in rental cars ever since.
My question is. Who do I go to for insurance at this stage on a 2007 Soft Top 350z - 313bhp? Planning on driving around europe again in the summer hence the cab.

I'm 31 with Full Drivers License and NCB etc.

Thanks in advance.

Also, anyone know of any nice fto's for sale?

Thanks
Russ

Look at my recent post in the insurance section. I rang round this month.

Travellers car insurance through a broker was always a good option for me on the Zed. Sadly they have now departed the country but I would imagine going through a broker who can check out those specialist options is the way to go. Having said that - the insurance on an FTO is higher than a 350Z (non-conv) for me.

Russ, try 123.ie (not FTO friendly, unfortunately).

Hope you fully recovered after the crash btw.

No, I meant how some insurers respond to the jap marque.

Thanks for coming back to me here. CL.. looks like 123.ie will be best option except I forgot to buy a Z!
Ended up picking up a tasty black BMW 645ci. Picking her up on Wednesday afternoon.
I'll post a few pics once I've collected her!

Cheers

Juicy !! Love the prices of the 645s these days alright - massive car for relatively small money.

Yep - If you're going bigger than 3 litre then you might as well go the whole hog as the tax will be the same. Lovely V8 rumble off that engine.

Mustang would be my choice if I was to beak the tax barrier.
97 Manual GPX. Icecelle Blue.
Other Stuff: Induction kit. Front Strut. Apex Lowered. 17" Kahns. Quad exhaust. HID lights. Glow dials and rings/cups. Black leather seats. Window tints. Sunroof.
