Postby RussMan » Wed Jan 09, 2008 11:12 am

My bro bought me a nice Christmas present this year!!

A JWT Pop Charger. I'm still waiting on a bunch of other mods to arrive but no sign of them. getting  This sounds great i must say but you really need to have the foot to the floor to get the maximum effect!!

Pop charger - Is this a fancy term for ducted CAI?

not even CJ, it;s a fancy name for a simple induction kit, no ducting to be seen... apart from the original stuff that's there!

Nice Russ isn't it?? I'm hopefully getting an exhaust soon so it should be nicely loud after that!!!

Hey Dave,

Bought the cover and badge off envy performance... can't remember the price but think it was good value iirc. I'd love the interior... is your's the same finish as this cover.. where you buy and how much ?? Must have a mini Z meet at some point if you and myfto are interested?

On a separate note had the biggest drift of my life yesterday... scared the pants out of me... Carrickmines roundabout, accidental..... people behind me and walking along the path must of been like    I've got the tail out a little intentionally on many occasions but i had full opposite lock yesterday, really thought i was a goner until i came out of it laughing my head off... probably the shock of it all!

it's scary when it happens alright!! plus my rears could probably do with being changed!!
It's the same finish as that alright, I've got the engine cover, brake and battery covers too... all top quality, I bought some of the stuff from Phil who'd be East Shore Racing and the interior kit I got from Envy

Sure try make it along to the FTO anniversary meet, both myself and Shane will be there...

I'll check out the meet section.. been a while!! I've got to see that kit... looks sweeeet!!! Think i might buy a DVD player for the car this weekend as i've got the screen and its hooked up to nothing. Might put some bob the builder episodes on for Toby on long journeys.

Were you driving with the ESP (stability/traction control) turned off?
Usually the Zed is very good at correcting the car when it steps out of line. However with the ESP off - its tail-out city! - the Limited Slip Diff makes it very manageable though.
