New front wipers, fabric seat covers and boot dampers - 10e

Hi everyone. I decided to start a new topic as the old one got outdated. I have some leftovers for sale as my old FTO went to a new owner some time ago. What's left is:

set of front wipers, not used - 10e plus two freebies: Rubber boot dampers (set of two) and Fabric interior seat cover set, in presumably good condition




Decat pipe with seal and 3 bolts - GONE to Gino
3G drilled and grooved rear brake discs (pair), used (machined recently, with perfect surface), plus a set of Green Stuff brake pads that were used with the discs - GONE to Gino
Manual Jack - GONE to Gino
manual gear stick gaiter - GONE to Chris
Center console (no cracks) - GONE to Chris

You're extremely lucky mate - gaiter is in very good shape, and I'm coming over to Dublin for two days tomorrow to show my parents around Ireland. Call me after 2pm and we can sort something out - I'll be in Dublin 9 between 12 and 2 pm and in the evening tomorrow, and on Thursday morning, and around city centre for the rest of the time until late Thursday afternoon.

Well I think I have the gaitor now. You might consider dropping centre console price, at least for the members. I brought the centre console and gator from Seb for €50 last week. I don't need it, but it's nice to have I suppose, just in case u decide to go crazy and start painting.

The problem is people are willing to pay over the odds, and as long as they are there will be someone there ready to exploit them.
I think Goz got it about right at €35.

Bernard - are we talking about market price of this particular piece of equipment (supply/demand/OE prices), or "how much would I personally decide to pay for moulded piece of black plastic with an ashtray"?

Being able to advertise free of charge directly to your target audience comes with a couple of drawbacks, one of which is having comments that you might not like posted on your thread.

€50 is the going rate and for the record I wasn't suggesting that you're trying to exploit anyone.
I'd like to think that club members would help each other out and give each other the best prices (maybe that's just wishful thinking).
Personally I wouldn't pay any more than €35 but I've seen some silly amounts asked for that part in particular in the past, it's a pet hate of mine.

Eventually, it will sell for €50. Someone will have a damaged centre console, or will want want to spray one. You might sell in two weeks, or in two months, but it might be much longer. Different people will pay different prices and I would. O doubt pay €50 if I needed the part, because I am a fussy bastard. I paid €50 even though I didn't need one, but I did get the gaitor with it too, which pushed me toward the sale
A bit. I would have paid no more, even if I needed the part, because it's mildly cosmetic and not easy to see cracks unless you look. I say keep €50 but accept €40 if push comes to shove, but that's just me. I just hate hanging onto sale items. I like liquidity and not so much assets.

At this point however, since I'm watching the FTO market closely and consider getting one eventually I'm in no rush to get rid of those parts at less than I would be expecting to pay here myself. If somebody would be interested at listed prices I can let those parts go - at least when/if I'd get my hands on a GPX and it would need a centre console I wouldn't end up losing money.
