Camskill delivery (Target express).

Postby Bernard » Sun Jul 18, 2010 2:28 pm

Just wondering if anyone else is having problems or is it just a problem with the Limerick depot?
I ordered replacement suspension parts on Tuesday, checked the tracking and the expected delivery was Thursday.

There was no sign of them Thursday, despite them being scanned into the Limerick depot at lunchtime.
I rang the next day and was told that they were out for delivery and that I'd have them by 4 o' clock.
Again nothing... they don't deliver over the weekend so it's looking like Monday.
I wouldn't mind if it was a once off but the last two times I've ordered parts from Camskill they haven't arrived when expected.
I've met the driver on his route a couple of times just to get them a day earlier but it's starting to grate.

Bernard, suggest you send an email to Camskill to complain, not their fault per se but it would be in their interest to know if the courier company is messing about.

Yeah, I said it to Mike when I was talking to him.
I was just wondering if it's just a Limerick problem or Target express in general.
In the past I'd be be waiting no more than 48 hours, in fact I've often gotten parts the next day.

As per CJ, tell camskill. I've found delivery a bit slower recently.

Finally got my parts this evening, after another 3 or 4 phone calls.
I'll send Camskill a mail in the morning.

Yeah, definitely worth a note to Camskill, I'm sure they'd appreciate the heads-up. They wouldn't be too happy if they're breaking their back to dispatch an order as fast as they do, only for the courier to take his sweet time.

We'd a similar problem at work. The company involved acted straight away once we let them know what was happening and changed courier. Problem solved and the suppliers good name kept.
