Any news on how this event went?

A friends grandmother passed away on Friday evening so I just had to cancel the weekend more or less. Sorry about not meeting up as I'd planned free time and everything set aside for it. Some things just cant be planned for unfortunately.

Tiernan.

:ll A big thankyou to all who made the effort to attend the Lurgan park rally  Was a shame Boru you couldn't get your car into the park soory I couldn't get back to you but there was only one small spot in the park I could get signal on my phone, hope you enjoyed your day all the same. Did you get in on time to witness the arrival of scoobyireland.com 40 or so scoobys arriving in convoy an impressive sight and sound. A big shout out has to go to mitsubishi lancer register also a friendly and enthusiastic bunch. craic was 90.
in reply to Tiernan. was a total flop mine was the only fto in the whole park!

Disappointed not to have got into main carpark yesterday, your car looked lonely  , especially with all them scoobies filling the field. They had some turnout. I got parked in a carpark across the road from the entrance at the presentation end, eventually made my way up to the end were you parked for the final couple of stages and spotted your car.(Took picture). Waited a few minutes for you at the end then thought that if you were staying for the presentations I could get my car and bring it into the field , but with traffic by the time I got round you were gone. Anyway it was a good day. It was the first rally my wife ever been to and she really enjoyed it (that's once she got over jumping at every backfire  )

Pitiful turnout on the part of ftoIreland Only Boru made the effort to come down and unfortunately he got down late and was unable to get his car into the park, so mine was the only fto at lurgan park. On the bright side there was a massive turnout for scoobyIreland.com approx 40 Imprezas and about a dozen Lancers from Mitsubishi Lancer register. Weather was kind to us and was a super days rallying. Seeing all those scoobies has made me determined to get one next year, its an itch that must be scratched :D
