Not great - its in the middle of a busy shopping centre on a Saturday afternoon. I'm suggesting the Applegreen petrol station down the N7 just past Rathcoole, we can meet Dave somehwre down the road. It will only take 2.5hrs max to get down to MfFTOs place from there so I'd be inclined to say 3pm.

I've created 2 seperate threads in this forum for members to indicate which convoy (Saturday or Sunday) they will be heading down with, please use the appropriate topic rather than posting here.

Can you or two of you print out some flyers for the day, they can be left on windscreens in the S&S or dropped onto other FTOs we come across.

Just be carefull you don't pass the entrance to the station - stay on the inside lane on approach - you are on top of it before you see it and its easy to fly past.

Nice list guys !! Looks like you're shaping up well to have the biggest Irish FTO meet ever !!

I'm off the road at the moment. PaulN dropped out to me today and I have a few tests to do over the coming days to assess whether I only need a new water pump vs. a new engine so fingers crossed.

Enjoy yourselves and look forward to seeing the pics !!

If you take the rear seat out, chance leaving the spare at home along with a low fuel load you'll be pretty much as light as you can get...

I only removed my center console and dvd player cause

1. I want to sell my dvd player as I no longer use it.. (changed job since I got it so I no longer sit on the m50 4 hours a day)

2. I needed to adjust the handbrake cable anyways...

Check out this thread for suggestions.
Removing the rear seats is easy. For a more extreme approach you could remove the passanger seat.
I'd say bring teh spare wheel and tools kit for piece of mind. There'll be plenty of us in the S&S, you could leave the spare in someone's boot.

So are the Sunday Dublin crew meeting the rest in Birdhill (old Post Office/Co-Op store on main N7 after "Matt the Threshers")? Think I'll meet ye here as the convoy into the racecourse should be class.

Can someone pm me a number in case I'm not there (hangovers can be a b*tch).
