Photoshop heads?

Postby kevinod » Thu May 04, 2006 11:26 am

Any photochop heads on the forum? I'm playing around with it trying to do a few flyers/posters etc, and slowing picking it up, but if you know of a good tutorial on the web I'd much appreciated being pointed in the right direction! :D

Also, on the subject, anyone know of a filters/effects I can use to give a blue light kinda effect?

I can trick around with Photoshop but I'm no guru, in my experience, its the sort of thing you have to work with for a while before you have a good understanding of all the functions. Sorry, I'm not much help here!

I'm using v7 at the moment, first time I've really got anywhere with it (although I haven't really tried too hard up to now). The magic wand thingy is handy out but it doesn't seem to want to just blank out the bits I haven't selected so there's been some copying and pasting happening.

I'm afraid to ask what a 'reasonable' price for PS v8 CS is!

There must be some good free tutorials around the web though? Been doing a little googling, but a lot of whats out there seems to be very specific to a particular function/feature.

I know what you mean... discovered a friend uses it a bit, so might try to sit down with her some evening and see what handy tricks she can show me. Um Photoshop tricks I mean!

LOL, glad you cleared that up :)

Take a lok around the various Bitorrent sites, theres one or two Photoshop books available for download, some of the Gnutella type P2P networks are also worth a look in that regard.

through its a bargain..but if u get caught selling these u will be asked to bend over..... thats software piracy with intent to sell, you get put behind bars for sure!!

you say it comes cracked! does that mean that you cracked it yourself or used a crack patch ?

your right you do have to be suspicious about downloading cracked versions over the net, but what i usualy look for is a retail version and then i get a serial key

just my 2 cents

I'd just like to point out that FTO-Ireland does not condone software piracy of any form, if you like the software go out and buy it!
