FS: 2001 E46 BMW 320d SE

Postby CJ » Sun Jan 16, 2011 12:06 am

I've decided to sell on the BMW 320d, its served me well over the last 6 months were its spent most of its time up and down the M1 on the daily commute. Some of you might remember that I bought the car from Topcat during the summer, it hasn't missed a beat since and continues to impress me in terms of its ability to eat up the miles in relative comfort. Its very economical, I've average about 900 kms per tank over the past 6 months. Anyway, heres the details and pics:

2001 E46 BMW 320d SE in steel gray

123600 miles
NCT 08/11, tax 01/10

Full black leather interior, auto-dim rear view mirror, cruise control, climate control, rear parking sensors, boot lip spoiler aftermarket Blaupunkt stereo (display colour matched to dash lights) with built in bluetooth handsfree, new floor mats, 17" BMW alloys, all tyres good (rears recently replaced with Kumho Ecsta Sports), Eibach lowering springs (originals thrown in), clear front side indicator pods, smoked side repeaters and finally, a set of roof bars (and a litre bottle of oil!).

The service history is pretty complete, I undertook an engine service @ 123k (oil + filter, fuel/air/pollen filter, turbo oil seperator filter - fit and forget vortex type, EGR valve cleaned). This is the 136bhp model - it has a better built turbo than the 150bhp and no swirl flaps to worry about.

If I had my honda sold, I'd seriously consider taking this back off you. The best "practical" car I've ever had, and the Eibach's are a very nice addition. I doubt it'll be long shifting at that price. GLWTS! :)

Looks gammy whatever it is. It's not one of those BMW jeeps is it.

Kinda looks like a subaru. Or a daihatsu terios

Really bugging me, it looks like an suv, headlight looks Japanese and the arches are very subaru looking.

Overhangs look very short which would suggest RWD

I would have thought Subaru with the arches but the lights aren't Subaru.

It's hard to keep up with cjs car changing,
The Rex is gone, so is the fto, isn't there a sprog carrier required as well?
Maybe its some small nasty mini suv runabout yoke and he hasn't replaced the bm with anything yet.

Probably some soul destroying KIA or Hyundai with a tiny diesel engine.

Very impressive CJ, how you got a pic to baffle everyone on a car enthusiasts forum so long.

I think I might just have it though, the only thing that doesn't fit the equation, is that its your car.

Citroen C1?
