1997 Legnum VR4 (BARGAIN €3000)

Postby steelroe » Mon Oct 06, 2008 10:33 am

Guys I have decided to put the Legnum up for sale. Currently have the FTO, Mazda 6, van and then the VR4 to run and maintain. I have driven it for the last number of weeks and it drives superbly.

So here it is

1997 Mitsubishi Legnum (VR-4)
2.5 Twin Turbo.
5 Speed Tipronic.
Blue
142Km
17" Alloy
All fluids have just been changed. This car is in mint condition given it is nearly 15 years old. Even the paint is good except for a large stone chip on the bonnet.

Pics here before it is all cleaned up. phpBB2 ... hlight=vr4
Will post more pics soon

Bad Points (all of which are be rectified at the moment)
Both tie rods need replacing.
Exhaust mid section is holed in a couple of places (typical mitsubishi).
Still on english plates, VRT is €720.

Anyone interested please PM me or call 086 6029362 and I will answer any queas

€4250

I would consider this an excellent price for a VR4 in this condition.

Just wanted to point out how practical one of these cars are.. This evening I transported all of these boards in the back of my legnum.

38 x 8ftx2ft boards sure wouldn't have fitted in the corsa..
In the leggy I just slid the passenger seat forward and they literally only jutted out by 3inches or so.

Did a few jobsn it this evening. Stil have to do timing belt and pump.
Took it for a drive this evening, rins a dream. and best thing he wont have to pay VRT. Still on UK plates, and sterling diff makes it cheaper.

Absolutely everything works.

Or if anyone is interested I will break it for parts and the sell all parts suited to FTO 2.5TT conversion.
Either way it has to go ASAP as I have other projects that have priority.
