Bit of sad news team.

Last night due to issues with the incompetent old FTO NZ site owner, we lost the domain http://www.fto.co.nz to a company in the North Island of NZ... In retaliation to loosing the domain, we tracked down and contacted the new owners and pleaded with them to allow us to buy the domain back from them. This morning I received a reply back with their offer.

They are asking for $288 NZD...

Already sent. Nick, those .co.nz names are not cheap. Would you not consider a .com? FTO-nz.com and FTO-newzealand.com are both available for under 10 bucks when you use a discount code readily available online. I thought Leo industries were taking you for a ride, but it looks like they are only adding 100 to the price of the domain.

I would agree with GOZ here, I frequented the FTO NZ site often and I found that it had very little activity.
I would like to see it back up and running but if theres a cheap way of doing it that would be the way of doing it.
What do you think?

Ouch. That's a disgrace. Everyone should write that company a nasty email and send them dog poo in the post. There is a company in the USA that actually does this

But seriously, just take up a new domain rather than satisfy these cnuts.
