If this is going to be done we'd need more numbers for it to be any way successful, theres more than enough cars in munster to make a good meet, we have at least 5 very active members from cork and from limerick each, and extra from the other counties around, we can surely get 20 cars together if we wanted. There are surely a lot more members, both new and old, which are available to meet on a weekend day, if not the one thats put down, then for some other one. I dont care when we meet but if its a weekend that will suit everyone the better.
I have no problem meeting anywhere in Munster, doesnt just have to be cork, limerick is only just over an hour from cork city, and a road trip could be easily done in a day to a nice location for a photo shoot.
By the way, this is the first munster mini meet, so its a good way to be a part of history too! :)
And naturally cars from outside munster if they can should come along too!

Right, count me in.
The Dubs got 10 for the last mini meet... we can't let them beat us.
As Martin said there are loads of Limerick and Cork FTOs on here, and we don't have the pale as an excuse.
So come on and put your name down. :smt079

We should start thinking about a location and a route for the meet if this is going ahead still. I think we should aim to go on a scenic drive, its always a nice feeling to be part of a large convoy of FTO's, for those of you who have been in a convoy you'll know what I mean, and for those of you who havent then theres only way to find out. We could take a drive along the ring of kerry as that would be the most scenic of the places within easy range for all. We could take the Tralee road from Limerick and head down the route and come back through Kilarney and finish in Cork city.
Just an idea so if anyone has a better one or any other ideas throw it out there.
We still need more numbers so come on and put ye're names down.

I dunno, Kerry is a bit of an overkill don't ya think?

Here are some places that have been suggested to me:

Charles Fort, Kinsale

The Abbey, Timoleague

Google them, and you'll see they are the perfect places for photos...

Charles fort is nice ya, I know the place. And not far from Charles fort or on the way is Garretstown, a beach, with sort of dunes by the road, could be nice too. Thats a good option. Keep 'em coming.

Still well on for this. I'll ask the girlfriend for some suggestions, she knows this side of the country better than me. Oh, Banagh beach is nice, and I think there are a few dunes we could get pic pics near. Not sure what that area is like for driving though.
I'll ask her to think about it this week though, and see if I can get some suggestions.

I resisting taking control cos I won't be doing an over-nighter myself, so if ye wanted that, I'd let someone else arrange that.
How about the Limerick gang meet nice and early (not much light these days), say 9:30. We can meet the cork crew then, say 11:00 (I'll let ye suggest somewhere). Maybe coffee/tea break for the limerick crew and a chat while we all get together. 11:30 hit the road out toward Charles Fort, and a couple of stops along the way, maybe into Kinsale. Martin, you might be able to plan a route out this way, I don't know the area. I think some food then in Kinsale 6ish, and those of us who aren't doing an overnighter can hit the road any time after this.
There's the start of a plan anyway. Any comments/suggestions welcome! :)

Oh sorry, i just thought some people wanted to do an overnighter. As I said, I won't be able to anyway. If people are trying to get back places a bit earlier, then we can condense it a bit. Could do dinner at 5 cos the light will be gone at that stage anyway.
You coming Seb? Ah go on...
