New wheels, spoiler, calipers.... photos

Postby adrian » Sat Feb 26, 2005 6:46 pm

Hi all,

I just got a chance to take the first photos of the S2000 with it's new toys on. They are Honda 17 inch alloys (from the 2005 model S2000), Bridgestone Potenza RE050 (stock on 2005 S2000, SL55AMG and an Enzo!), front lip spoiler in silverstone silver and red calipers all round with brushed silver S200 decals cover in VHT clearcoat. The alloys are an inch wider at the back then the front.

Cheers,

Adrian

As always Adrian, it looks class. How do find the new rubber in terms of grip? (bearing in mind they're probably not bedded in yet).

Cheers. Yea, the rubber is good. very quiet compared to the Eagle F1's I find. One thing I was shocked about what how long they take to bed in. It was like driving on oil for the first 50 or 60 miles and still very slippy after that so I called the tyre guy and he was saying that tyres like that you are looking at avout 5 or 6 hundred miles to bed in!
They are getting stickier all the time though. Lovely tyres..
