there is a drag racing event in N.I end of this month .
this crowd was very organised last year (mates got over 20 runs) so hope this year would be the same.

i want to take the Fto on the strip again , after teasing him with the Limerick track .

there were a few lads who showed interest so .. anyone else going?

I'm still thinking of going along to this myself Seb, The idea of unlimited runs seem's pretty cool too.

I'm wondering how they work out the classes, from what I gather they have a 12second class, 13 second and so on and you can enter which one you want, winners then taking part in a final.

Doesn't really make sense, I'm sure I'm missing something.

Had a quick look at the times from last year and didn't see any fto's on the list.

Might change that yet

was at their event when they were still doing it in Bishopscourt (N.I.)
(pics http://www.fto-ireland.com/forum/phpBB2 ... shopscourt )

after that was a couple of more times there, but there were other guys doing it and was a mess so really looking forward to see this crowd again

not 100% how they make the classes but there were no FTO's on the track as far as i know.

power : there was a small show and shine area and a drift event as well . maybe they'll follow the same pattern this year

I got a best time of 15.34 on a mildly moist track. got to the semi finals and raced against a Civic, won that, then got to the final against an Integra Type R. lost that by .05 of a second.

Seb's best time was close enough to mine. mine were improving all through the day, it was hard to stay focussed when I had to queue for 20 mins to get another run. it was hard to remember where I went right and where I needed to improve. I finally got the hang of the launches, and I reckon if I hadn't held it in 3rd so long and changed up earlier, I would have got a better time in the final.

I know I can shave another bit off that time, not sure if there are any more events before Christmas

is that an actual Police vehicle???

If yes - how did it do? Would you be able to compete?

Was it a cop driving?!
I'd love to put garda stripes on mine, if she was a show car only, dont think its allowed though.
