Hello Everyone

Postby tadFast » Tue Feb 08, 2011 2:02 pm

Hi Everyone

Just registered here my name is Niall but my screen name is tadFast. You can call me whatever you want.
I don't drive an FTO at present. I am only 17 and there not exactly an easy yoke to get insured on :P
Hopefully I'll have my own car in the next few months. I have enough money for a car but insurance is an absoloute ROB

BTW I just came accross this smiley! -> :r does anyone else think that it looks like a wave that you'd see someone doing while driving or is it just me :D

Anyways hope to become very active here and cant wait to get to know you all!

Don't mean to be bad...... But not a hope of ya getting insured on an FTO at 17. And a 0.0001% chance at 18

Welcome along Niall. Insurance is the killer for FTO owners as you will no doubt find out. Even in my 30's (*cringe) and I still found it hard to get a quote last year. You can get lucky though if you keep trying but expect to pay as much as the car itself for a years insurance, thats if you find anyone to quote you in the first place.

By the time you can get a reasonable quote, the FTO will probably qualify for classic insurance.

Well you'll learn a lot about them from this forum, so that when you do get the chance to purchase you'll know what to look out for.
