Theres been a few transplants from tip to manual but not sure of how many straight swaps with a tip, but I have no idea whats involved in them. Try Steelroe on here, hes done a good bit of work with FTOs so might know better.
I've been looking for info on swapping a tip out for a manual and its hard to find the info anywhere on the net. Other than that I'm afraid I'm no help to you.

Good stuff cause I'd like to see whats involved in taking it out before budgeting for it. Putting in a manual is a different story then but hopefully I'll find something somewhere on that too.

Cheers Rory, when I go to do it I'll definitely give you a shout.
I wanted to see a walkthrough first to see if it was a job I could do myself and sort of see what was involved, looks kind of tricky on the document, would it be a job I could do myself?
