Need Help Downloading files

Postby steelroe » Wed Aug 05, 2009 1:26 am

Guys I am trying to download/open the following links.

http://allamericanexportsinc.com/pdfs/p ... ce-Manual/
and
http://allamericanexportsinc.com/pdfs/p ... 1200NT-T2/

I can download but do not know how I can save in a format that will allow me to print (i.e. pdf)

I normally just download the PDF's , save and print as I want.
all help appreciated

Just click print, then instead of using your printer, print to file.
You should have the option of creating a PDF.

Dont have the PDF option bernard, I guess you must have PDF writer installed. The print to file option is greyed out.

Rory, download and install PDF Creator:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/

Let the web page download fully in the browser then go to File > Print and select PDF Creator as the printer option. This will allow you to 'print' the file (i.e. save it) to a PDF.

I downloaded the first one, it was about 18MB.
Did you let the page load fully, it took ages, even at work...

I think I have it for you Rory. Well, I downloaded it anyway (weird web page, took a few goes to get it :? ) and printed it. It printed a little funny though, and some of the images are cut over 2 pages, but I think it may still be useable.

PM me your email and what size email you can accept. (The pdf is 170 pages and 13.5MB, so I 'll break it into <5MB sizes or whatever you can take)
