Manual Mivec FTO WANTED for December 2012. I used to own a 1997 Version R in black. I sold it a couple of years ago and moved to Australia. I think the car is still up on adverts.ie. I will be home in December 2012 and I'm looking to buy another GP Version R or GPX. Ideally I'd like an original one but I'd consider any manual Mivec FTO.

its unlikely you'll find one without any mods. In fact, i'd say damn near impossible. Plenty of mods are easily reversible though, like induction kit back to original air box, or dash dress up stuff, often just pops out. One mod I certainly wouldn't mind is having lowering springs. I think an original GPvr is going to be next to impossible to source, but there's no harm in asking.

Yea I know but this might be a good place to try and find one. It wouldn't bother me too much if the mods were reversible but I'd just rather the original alloys and exhaust system. Original Recaro seats too. I have seen some really clean GPX models so I'd def consider a GPX facelift model also!

I wouldn't mind if it was lowered, if it wasn't, I'd get it lowered myself

Better change your request spec then. Lowered is good....it makes all the difference. And yes, there have been a few lovely GPX models out there. You looking for Manual or Tip?

Just browsing donedeal and came across one for you. The eijet has destroyed the back seats with a stupid feckin woofer, but that could be sorted. The steering wheel is screaming to be ripped out too.

Cheers for that, I already sent the guy a message saying if it's not sold by December, give me a call. I don't know what he was thinking with the sub woofer in the middle of the back seats....and as for the huge steering wheel...no comment!

It's been sitting in she'd for almost 3 years now and it doesn't look like i'm going to get it insured in near future due to having 3 kids now. It's only mod is a set of white 5 spoke alloys.
