In the picture the blue looks kinda patchy - like some parts of the dials are brighter than others - is that just the picture?

Bit of both really

I guess if you took a picture of the standard dial you would get the same - the shutter speed used to get that picture was pretty slow so the brighter parts do show up.

The light disc (for want of a better word) behind the dials are not the best design and I really should spend more time to blank the bright spots.

At dusk you can see where the LEDs are but in darkness it all smooths down and looks fantastic.

Has to be seen in the flesh really - will be at JAE if any of you are coming.
