Was behind a black unlabelled FTO this morning heading towards the M50.

So um, how did you work out its a GR if its unlabelled?? Do you think us GR owners are ashamed of them not being GPXs and remove the badges???

:P joking of course! but couldn't let that one go! Mines a GR, no GR badge on it when I got it, an Advan sticker there instead. The guy who had it was mad into his stickers, took me ages to get them off, still one or two I've left for the moment.

You'd better be careful of taking off the GR sticker or you may get confused for a GS  Me - I think I'll leave the GPX & Mivec badges on - though I do have the utmost respect for someone who debadges an M5 or similar. My Ex GF's Dad bought a spanking new Escort Cosworth a few years back - took off the big tea tray spoiler and Cosworth badge and replaced it with a big DIESEL badge - Respect!

Actually, I thought it was a GS myself but I thought if I called it a GR he wouldn't be to embarassed to admit to owning it : )

I was thinking of getting an oversized GPX sticker for mine but that's just to cover up some of the scratches.

That was me, 8) MY GOD all this banter over me taking off my GR stickers  , I never thought people would be so sensitive about their FTO 'status'

I don't like badges, I'd love to take off the mitzi triangle on the bonnet, only it would leave a hole!, and I'd also love to get rid of keyholes etc to have a plain smooth bodywork, anyway, maybe after christmas, (we'll see how the funds are)

Were you in a silver FTO? I didn't see the badge! - I only noticed you when you passed me at the roundabout - waved but you were gone. I was pulling off to go up the M50. My yoke was filthy (It's actually navy blue, not black) I was only after coming back from a funeral in Limerick the night before, but she's all polished up again now. Give us a flash if you see me again.

Yep, that was me in the Silver one - proudly displaying my GPX badge. I had tried to wave to you as I passed but you were singing away to some music.
