newbie says hi

hi all im an fto newbie just bought a 95 2ltr v6 mivec its a beast but it has a few issues needs a new heater matrix anew temp gauge sensor (ithink thats what its called) and im gonna replace the thermostat and coolant temp sensor also then a full service is next in line before it goes on the road only paid €600 for it it has 17 inch deep dish alloys dvd player i also got two 16 toora alloys as well ill put pics up when i take some only drove about 15 miles but think im in love anyway hope to speak to you all again soon anyone any tips or points on tuning maintenance etc much appreciated thanks and hi again :smt006

Welcome to FTO-Ireland.

Guide to changing heater matrix note that a new matrix is recommended over a used one due to their fragility.
Camskill is a great source of original Mitsi parts as well as their own products, I'm pretty sure they do a matrix for the FTO,


The FTO Knowledgebase contains loads of useful info for maintaining or improving your FTO.

hi all sorry about slow reply been kinda busy but thanks for all your comments i live in laois but the car wont be on the road for a while want to get it running right and fully serviced nct etc first i have wanted an fto for sometime now so want to make sure its all serviced before running it dont need any unnecessary expense which could be prevented by a bit of tlc.but while im on if any of the other members with more knowledge of this car then me can give me some advice about the important things to check i would much appreciate it and as soon as she gets a wash ill try put up some pics so thanks again folks
