Wheels sound grand but I'd say the tyres could rub.
How low is your car?
Mine's fairly low and I get slight rubbing with 235/40/17s.

235/45/17 is the standard standard evo size, I don't suppose you could try before you buy?

EDIT:

Just noticed the wheels are 7.5.
Is 235 not too wide for that?

235 sounds too wide on a 7.5 inch rim especially with just a 35 offset on an FTO - I would imagine rubbing would be the order of the day.

"Runway" tyres are absolute rubbish as well.

Can you give us more detail of the alloys you are looking at - price etc?

215/45 17 looks good and doesn't rub.

No point in putting rubbish tyres on.

A review of Runway 916's says it all, it made me laugh:

235/45/17's will likely foul the arches, go for 215's as per colm.

They look a bit dangerous. Wouldn't that type of structure be vulnerable to cracking/breaking if it hit a pot hole, or Burger King drive thru speed bump? :P

I'm feelin a bit peckish now.

Don't think the FTO would respond well to different width rims on the back - 9.5inch is particularly wide for an FTO and likely means he is running circa a 275 width tyre on the rear which won't fit on an FTO.
Whatever you are thinking of buying off donedeal - I'd recommend test fitting them and ensuring that none are warped or rubbing on your arches.
